Voltclaws
Voltclaws are the most annoyingly arrogant, irritating, pessimistic, smart, and constantly pissed dragons in Nyrogecia. Literally no one likes them or their horrible queen, Tempest, except Scorchie because she's insane. But this is just their description based on toxiclaw assumptions..
Basic Information
Anatomy
Voltclaws are medium sized electric dragons and are the swiftest and fastest species. They have excellent vision able to forsee things before they happen and this is what makes them great at combat. They are very thorny to the touch having jagged scales, serrated claws and horns. They have thin, long snouts with long teeth (they have 2 canine sets), with 3 side horns and glowy bolt-shaped horns. They are usually lean and agile and are brilliant at running and flying fast. Their bolt tail can stun other dragons temporarily. They exhale lightning breath that can stun and kill dragons or prey. They gain power when they are near storms and if they get hit by lightning, they can create lightning sheilds and are conductive. When angry their horns glow brighter.
Genetics and Reproduction
Voltclaws are automatically enrolled in a breeding program and every 4 years every dragon breeds according to who is organised to be their partner. Eggs are collected and incubated until hatching. Any ill or deformed hatchlings are killed. This has made their gene pool extremely strong. Genetic illness has been erradicated and deformities are rare.

They are the fastest growers reaching adult size at age 11.
Ecology and Habitats
Voltclaws live in valleys and plains. Generally huge open areas.

They eat valley animals like bison, foxes and wolves and pronghorns.
Behaviour
Voltclaws are said to be naturally territorial and aggressive, even to their own kind. However this is disputed and could be made up for propaganda purposes.

Naming Traditions
They are named as numbers from 0-999 with a letter if they are below the gold rank. All dragons below 12 are named numbers. Names are electricity or ligh themed if they ascend to the gold or platinum rank.

Courtship Ideals
The queen's specialists always choose partners for every dragon to mate with every 4 years. No romantic relationships are permitted at all for any rank and are punishable by imprisonment.
Relationship Ideals
All voltclaws are raised to treat all others as acquaintances, never forming romantic or platonic relationships with them. Only formal friendships are allowed. Romantic/sexual relationships are punishable by imprisonment or execution (like in the case of interspecies relationships.)

Very advanced for a dragon. They are currently working with electricity.

Pirrinic is the only language allowed. Cantelo is banned.
Common Etiquette Rules
Being polite and serious is the only acceptable form of role.
Common Dress Code
The permanent wrist band and horn sheaths are only allowed to be worn. Only those in the royal rank can wear jewelry or clothes. Soldiers or guards must wear armour. Horn sheaths with additional facial armour are gifted to dragons on their 25th hatchday.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Voltclaws absolutely despise toxiclaws and fireclaws. They are currently allied in the Trinarion with the iceclaws and darkclaws.
