Dalsha’ūwi Cave

The Dalsha'uwi cave is a complex system of underground caves in the deepest Shagha desert. Only some of the most ancient and honourable Nāqqiād are aware of its existence. They claim it contains abyssal energies and that it is the utmost dangerous place. It is full of eerily glowing crystals, that any scholar would recognise as Cugisu Lode, if they could see them.

Localized Phenomena

The crystals inside the cave appear to work just the cugisu lodes. They catalyse the magical energies contained within the cave, crystalising inside them with an unknown reaction. However, there is so much magical energy in the cave that the crystals can't fix it all. The remaining energy lingers in the air until it is too dense to be stable and explodes in dangerous waves of abyssal magic. Frequent contact with it can cause conditions similar to Demonic Taint. For this reason, Nāqqiād shamans usually forbid anyone to enter the cave, unless they recognise they strength.

Natural Resources

Although no one knows about the caves outside the local tribes, the crystalised energy would be really useful to the magitech advancement of countries such as the Arkadhian New Empire or the Shajīn Kingdom. If their existence and location leaked, the Shajīn would immediately try to seize its entrance declaring war to the Nāqqiād tribes.
