Bytteport Tower

Bytteport tower in an elvish stronghold at the border of the Sylarbor, on the south bank of the Green River. It serves as a point of entry for the elvish kingdom, as all people and goods that travel south of the tower on the Elvish Road must pay a tax to the Elvish Kingdom and be subject to a goods inspection. In the last few centuries the mission of the tower has shifted from being a northern garrison, to being more of trade regulation, although the infrastrucure to garrison an army is still maintained. The bridge over the green river lead directly into a gate at the base of the tower and then passes under the tower itself.
