Cloud Giants of the Hellighoyde

A small band of cloud giants occupy the upper reaches of the clouded hills of the Hellighoyde. They are extremely isolationist and rarely, if ever, venture out into the surrounding grasslands. They are the remnants of a large cloud giant civilization from the World's Roof Mountains, who were overthrown by their numerically superior frost giant servants in the ancient times. The band in the Hellighoyde remain hidden to all but to a few priests of the horsemen who bring them gifts twice a year. The horsemen believe these giants to be an incarnation of the jotun Skadi, or Skadi herself, and so worship the giants as gods.
