East Gate

East Gate is a town that has been built up to support the Miriadorian garrison in the mountain pass the separates the Kingdom from Barania.  Originally established just as a military garrison, it has expanded over the years as a local economy developed in support of the standing army post.   The most prominent feature of East Gate is the great stone wall that spans the mountain pass.  There are multiple towers that line the almost quarter mile long wall and a great stone gate that swings easily on hinges thanks to an enchancment.  These days the gate is always open, and people pass freely through.  The settlement began on only the western side of the gate, but in the last few years has spread to the eastern side of the pass.
