Egyptian Pantheon
The once mighty Egyptian pantheon has fallen on harder times, losing followers in other worlds and winnowing their celestial power from the unstoppable force they once were. And while they are not as powerful as they had been, they are still a formidable entity in the universe. Arriving in Nyverden at roughly the same time as the Celtic pantheon, the Egyptian gods placed their followers in the dryer, hotter southeastern region of Ankomst, which until that time had been unoccupied by all peoples. Originally nomads of the Massi Desert, the Egyptian peoples followed the coastlines of the Goric Sea and moved into the Goric Peninsula, establishing strong kingdoms that reached from the mountains to the Disparate Sea. A death cult, lead by clerics and wizards in the service of Seth, was overcome by the kingdom of Telmand, with help from the Archadians, and the remnants escaped to the sea. They sailed north and landed on the beaches of the Weathered Coast, establishing the province of Tashibar, where they prey upon the surrounding peoples, running a thriving slave trade and sacrificing captives to their god.
