Heart of the Gods Temple
The Heart of the Gods is a holy site within the Bodies of the Gods Hills on the south coast of the Golden Sea. It is safeguarded by the Wolf Clan and is the most important spiritual site to many of the Celtic peoples, drawing visitors from all over the southwestern Ankomst.
It is a large sinkhole that has been reverred since the dawn of the Celtic peoples, and they have decorated the sides of the sinkhole, built stone buildings within it, and reoutinely offer sacrifices, both treasure and living things, into the sinkhole. The sinkhole seems bottomless, and the water is black and calm.
The surrounding area is controlled by the Wolf Clan. The site is sacred to them, although it is not the place where they repower their torcs - that is the Wolfsden Holy Site outside of Halstatt. Here they bring sacrifices, both living things and treasure, and throw them into the black waters of the sinkhole. Here the Celts come to learn the will of the gods, seek guidance, and offer up sacrifices for success in battle, bountiful harvests, and good fortune in the coming year.
