Horselords of the Hesterherre

The Horselords are a semi-nomadic Nordic peoples who make their home on the rolling plains of the Hesterhere Peninsula, between the Seaspine Mountains and the Elven Wall. They worship the Norse Pantheon but pay special attention to the worship of Jotuns, and especially the Jotun Skadi who they beleive inhabits the Hellighoyde and causes the nevereding line of storms that constantly sweep the peninsula. The Horselords are a militaristic, and shepherding society who rely on the raiding and trading as a mean of sustaining their nomadic lifestyle. Horseflesh and iron are the two sources of truw wealth on the grasslands and the tribes are in a constant state of scheming to gain more. The entire peninsula is generally divided up amongst five separate nations: The Innsonar. the Skjellfolk, the Jodnar, the Veggmenns, and the Montlings.
