Kylos

The oldest mannish domain of the northern kingdoms, Kylos was settled by refugees from the kingdom of Kystfort during the creation of the Coringian Empire. It remains very isolationist from a foreign policy standpoint, refusing to become involved in the politics of other regions.  But it does matintain a thriving trade economy, exporting mainly wool from is vast sheep farms of the interior, and cherries from the orchards on its southern coast.  It also maintains a large royal navy that protects its coasts and shipping lanes as well as a substantial commercial fishing fleet. The sailors of Kylos are known for their seamanship and ability to deal with the harsh weather conditions of the Inner Sea.   Kylos is ruled by a king who sits atop an elite group of nobles consisting of six familes who are descended from the original familes to leave Ankomst and settle the island.  Each family has a portion of the island they have been granted by the King, and they maintain lands of that grant in a feudal system, using serfs to work the land and livestock.
