Mother of Mist Falls

The horse tribes of the Hesterherre refer to the falls of the Langdrank River over the Elven Wall as the Mother of Mist Falls.  The falls plunge hundreds of feet from the forests of Mariarion to the plains of the Hesterherre, issuing huge clouds of mist that often obscure the fallls entirely.  The Langdrank plummets hundreds of feet creating a roar that can be heard for miles out on the plains and puts enough water droplets in the air that trees grow at the base of the falls, one of the few places outside of the Hellighoyde that trees are found on the Hesterherre.   A steep staircase is carved into the rock on the eastern side of the falls, but is worn and difficult to find, and impossible to see at a distance.
