Rivermeet

Rivermeet sits at the union of the Belting and Brown Rivers, and is a major trading hub for the kingdom of Norgaard, situated at the conversion of the borders of Norgaard, Miriador and and the elvish kingdom of Sylarbor.  The ancient keep that overlooks the city is on rocky outcropping overlooking the rivers, and has fallen into disrepair.  The city serves as a staging point for all different types of caravans, barges, traders and middle men who do business with the mannish and elvish kingdoms.   Oriningally founded as an outpost to defend the northern borders of Miriador and Sylarbor, a large market grew up around the keep as trade flourished between the established kingdoms.  Rivermeet is ruled by a Jarl who owes fealty to the Kriggsherre of Norgaard.   Rivermeet's markets are one of the few places where parties can find both elvish and dwarvish goods.
