The Rock of Helles
Most often referred to as simply "The Rock", this is an enormous, impregnable fortress city atop a pillar of rock and overlooking the Disparate Sea. It is the seat of the Apollian King and the anchor of his military might.
The Rock itself is sheer cliffs on all sides and is only approachable by a long earther ramp that leads to an entrance in the solid rock about halfway up the northern face. Inside, the Rock has been honeycombed with rooms, armories, sleeping quarters, storage cellars, and enough provision to see an entire army through several years. The top of the Rock is crowned with a large stone keep that occupies the entirety of the summit. This keep contains the throne of Titus V, King of Helles.
