Vilion

Vilion is the capital of Miriador and the seat of the king. The city was founded by Mirias a the mouth of the Belting River 900 years ago and has remained the most important center of mannish civilization in the Northern Kingdoms ever since. Vilion is a prosperous and well-defended city, enjoying healthy trade relationships with the elves and dwarves of the Northern Kingdoms. In the last 50 years Miriador has begun to expand its trading relationships with the Greek cities far to the south and has, in the process, begun to draw the attention of the Coringian Empire across the Inner Sea. Vilion is home to the Hoyskole, a number of temples to the Norse gods, a thriving lumber and woodworking industry, and is one of the few mannish kingdoms to have outlawed slavery.
