Vindikreeg

The Vindikreeg are the hippogriff riders of Sylarbor. They are headquartered in Monteriabor but regularly patrol the entire kingdom. They are an elite unit, with younger elves training for years to be counted within their ranks. Those identified as potential candidates are brought to Monteriabor as squires where they learn the care and preparation of the hippogriffs. As time passes, they eventually learn the basics of airborne riding and mounted fighting techniques. If they are able to pass a riding test, and with the approval of their Vindilord, they are made a full rider and named a Vindikreeg.
