Mox

A ward of the Grimjaws Orphanage in Rightfin, Mox was selling apples at the performance of The Sack of Gosmerley on 17th Winterfall 866WA when he was approached by Vega Spritzer. She purchased his entire load of apples and criticized him for being "useless" at providing information relating to Hearthaven. In an uncharacteristic outburst, he created a scene by shouting back that he wasn't useless, turning the assemblage instantly against the newcomer.   During the third act of the performance, Beulah Garland came upon him sulking outside the theatre and had a heart-to-heart discussion about the "way out" of poverty as a street kid. Beulah did not pull any punches, admitting that she skated on the other side of the law and that it was a legitimate way to become successful -- but that it was important to trust one's gut and to stay safe at all times.   Mox seemed to come to some resolution at the conclusion of that conversation, advising Beulah that he could find her if he needed her in the future.

Fate in Question

Upon fencing her score from the burglary of Bishop Veno's house, Clytemnestra "Fanny" Glitters caught wind of a rumour going around that Thalia Overmere's secret papers had been stolen, and that it had been an inside job. Apparently the guard on duty after his arrest, came up with a fabulous, implausible story about a Halfling woman and a magical man in a glamour snooping around and talking directly about an intent to rob the suite, causing him to leave his post minutes before others discovered the robbery.   Fanny didn't catch the part about why a kid was involved in this "true" version of events, but reports are that both the guard and the "kid" were apprehended and the property was returned.
"Do you know where he's being held? What happened to him?" asked Fanny.   "Oh, honey," offered her associate. "He was a spy in the Corran Royal Family's chambers. What do you think happened?"
