Founding of New Aldmoor

Founding

Settlers following the receding waters of the great flood founded New Aldmoor on the ruin of Ahtor.

As the waters from the Great Flood receded, those who had escaped to the Surboi Rise began to reclaim the old land. The settlers discovered the ruins of Ahtor the ancient capital of Aldmoor, and while some of the infrastructure was intact, the city was waterlogged and dangerously alien. They built a temporary camp in the old market and over the several years expanded till New Aldmoor expanded to the ruined wall of the ancient city.
