Indae, The Archivist

The Keeper of Arcane and Knowledge melded the Gnomes to watch over his great libraries and file away the information. They were told not to open the books as their minds were not prepared for what was contained inside. One day one of the librarians opened a book and the gnomes and learned the secrets of the arcane. Over time they learned of technology and powerful spells. However it was not long before Indae found out of their treaterious actions and cast them out. The gnomes copied down all the knowledge they could remember, creating the first spell books and technological devices. However as time went on they forgot many of the incredible spells and mechanical wonders they once knew. Gnomes as well, High Elves, and those practicing the Arcane arts pay homage to Indae in hopes of being let back into their Great Libraries once again.
