History
The Holiday originated as a religious holiday called Christmas that occurred every December 25th. As most religions were abandoned, people still celebrated this holiday. It was sooner renamed by the government, and remade to be a celebration of humanity's achievements.
Execution
The celebrations begin at midnight on the 24th of December, and last until midnight on the 25th. The reveries include giving gifts to friends and family, as well as attending night long parades and parties, as well as exploring the numerous makeshift markets that spring up. Starting on the 20th, past generations and ancestors are honored by wearing mourning clothes and leaving flowers at the Explorers Monument on Earth.
Components and tools
The festival is usually preluded by celebrations of past generations, and formal attire is worn. On the night of the festival, wild and colorful clothing is worn, and expensive jewelry and accessories are also worn. Parades are also followed by running men covered from head to toe in ribbons of every color.
Participants
The President and the Top General attend public celebrations, and popular celebrities attend parties for the wealthy. The President is supposed to commemorate a new ship at midnight on the 24th to mark the beginning of the celebrations.

The Festival starts at midnight on December the 24th and ends at midnight on December the 25th.
