Purpose / Function

The Monument was constructed to be a place to honor past generations and brave trailblazers who set the stage for the rise of humanity. It has become a beacon of prosperity, surrounded by the business district, and used as a place of reverence during the Festival of the Stars.

Alterations

The Monument was moved to the surface of the new Arcology as the Earthen Eucomonopolis grew, and a massive Museum was constructed near it and is one of the places that contains all knowledge on past human civilizations and cultures.

Architecture

The Monument is a large statue featuring the team of Explorers that first set foot on Mars, As well as the teams from Europa, Titan, and Venus. The statue is made of Palladium so it will never rust or ruin, and is around 150ft tall.

History

The Monument was constructed in 2087, and was moved to the surface in 2234 as part of a project to restore past monuments. The Buisness District was constructed around the Monument and benefited from the billions that come to visit it each year.
