Espers

Within Oceanus exists those who are blessed and cursed with their bloodline. The Espers, are such a race. Very few in number , these individuals are regarded as the rarest and greatest treasures given flesh. They result from a mortal somehow coming into contact with an Aeon and producing a child. This child is tied to their exalted lineage's power and seen as something special. But there are those who would use such gifts for their own ends. When an Esper is discovered, all factions take an interest.
