Welcome to Octisafell!

Caravan Guard

While caravanning is mostly safe in the Sacala Desert due to the frequency and quantity of travelers of the Fire Silk Road, there are occasional spots of trouble and some of the lesser traveled paths are subject to bandits and marauders such as the infamous Desert Phantom.

This makes the caravan guard a valuable resource for caravans and lone travelers alike. These men and women can be found at most oases and at the endpoints of caravan routes. They can easily be hired in Tranquil Haven, which is the largest oasis in the Sacala Desert, and in Tirfalon, the starting and ending piont of the Fire Silk Road in Octiragrin. Guards are so ubiquitous that they are often overlooked and under appreciated until trouble hits.
