Ode To A Rogue
This is the famous poem written by Clarabelle Petichou to Franz Pierrenoir after he assassinated her nemesis. Franz went on to establish the Obsidian Fist. Clarabelle and Franz were great lovers.
Purpose
The poem declare Clarabelle's undying love and appreciation of Franz.

Publication Status
Plaques with the words of the original letter hang in the Ruby Spark and the City Hall. The original is under glass in the foryer of the Obsidian Glove. Copies are also available as tourist material in many establishments in Zahrain. It is one of Zahrain's treasures.
Historical Details
Background
Zahrain was a rougher, more lawless place in the 1800's. It was before the mayor and city council decided to create a safer, cleaner city for residents and tourists alike.
History
In the year 1854 AG, a competitor of the Ruby Spark and Clarabelle Petichou attempted to kill her out of jealousy. Franz Pierrenoir intervened and saved her life. That began a life-long love affair between the two. In response, Clarabelle penned the ode and sent it to Franz. She also encouraged him to form the Obsidian Fist. The town fathers also instituted the Red Bonnet and the Crimson Guard at that time.
Public Reaction
The ode is beloved by the citizens of Zahrain as well as visitors to the city.
Legacy
The poem is treasured and thought to be one of the best of its kind in the world.
