Temples of Niril

In Zalbah-At, the capital city of Kritmorc, there are three main temples, each dedicated to one of the three deities of the Niril religion. As a theocracy, government and religion are strongly intertwined in Kritmorc, and this is also visible in the functioning of the temples. In each one, one of the branches of the trias polictica is housed.

Temple of Dinmeyr

The Temple of Dinmeyr is dedicated to the holy Dinmeyr, Warden of All and Protector of things that have passed.
Apart from the sanctum to the holy Dinmeyr, the High Court is also located at the temple. From here the national judiciary rules. They are the final authority on the interpretation of the law. Across the country, smaller temples to Dinmeyr house regional courts.
The Great Archives are also housed at the Temple of Dinmeyr.

Temple of Calveyr

The Temple of Calveyr is dedicated to the holy Calveyr, Enforcer of All and Protector of things as is.
The Assembly of Calveyr is housed at the temple. This assembly is responsible for the execution of the law.
The temple also houses the School of Niril, where administrators are educated to one day take up a job in one of the temples.

Temple of Queyr

The Temple of Queyr is dedicated to the holy Queyr, Conductor of All and Protector of things yet to come.
The temple houses the Assembly of Queyr, the legislature of Kritmorc. They are authorised to make and change laws.
In addition to the sanctum to the holy Queyr and the Assembly of Queyr, the Oracle of Nir also lives at the temple.

Portent Plaza

The Temples of Niril are located in Portent Plaza. Between the temples, wide roads lead into the plaza. The temples and roads are positioned in such a way that the plaza has a hexagonal shape, each temple facing the entrance by one of the streets.
In the centre of the plaza, a high circular dais is raised. Here, once a year, the Oracle of Nir will speak to the people of Kritmorc.
