Cassandra was born as the eldest daughter of Hans and Elaine Colewens, the nobles presiding overBogwater Bay. She had two older brothers, Joshua and Bishop and a younger sister, Mel. She was trained along with her sister in the ways of being a proper Lady, dancing, eating, manners, etc., while watching her brothers learn the art of swordplay, hunting, and persuasion. Nine years ago her parents came down with a mysterious illness and passed away. Her brothers went missing on a hunting trip. Being the eldest Colewens heir left, she became the head of the household. Since her rise to power Bogwater Bay's crime has increased but so has its wealth. She is unmarried but many suitors have made attempts.
