An old friend of the Mako family, Longclaw has been in their lives since Indiana Mako was a young kid. Originally first mate to Captain Dalton Mako but after Dalton's retirement stayed on as crew of The Maiden's Mercy  when the son Oliver Mako took over.
Not one for the straight up brawl or flashy bravado of swordsmanship, Longclaw was more akin to use his Wit and Tricksteresque nature to accomplish things. Swordplay may have been taught by their father, but the Mako kids owe their other skillset of sneaking, thievery, and being aware of their surroudning to use to their advantage from the loyal first mate.
