- To Thy Brothers and Sisters be true- The golden Guild is a brotherhood. Violation of the guild rules will not be tolerated. All guild members are expected to be respectful and polite when dealing with other members of the community.
- To the Guild, the Gold- Always uphold the name of the Golden Guild. Never sell something that is made poorly, and never support subpar craftsmanship outside of learning and betterment. Items that are of poor quality should be melted down and started anew. As a member of the guild you represent the guild. This is made even more true with their architectural and engineering branches, as poor workmanship could cost lives.
- To root is to die- Always move forward. Look for new methods, new craftsmen, and new ways to perfect your art. This is how the guild flourishes and continues to be innovative.
- Do not sack the left hand for the right- Theft will absolutely NOT be tolerated. To steal one's metals, methods, or means is to shun the brotherhood. This will result in the loss of your livelihood, your shop, or your position within the guild and/or worse.
- Attend thy station- To be a member of the guild is to be actively pursuing your art and science. Do not let the lay of slothfulness take you. Guild members are expected to be working and creating.
- To thy apprentices, attend- The guild will not tolerate the taking and abandonment of apprentices without good reason. The relationship between apprentice and master is one that is sacred to the betterment of the guild. The masters then are responsible for the conduct of their apprentices and must make sure they understand the laws and safety of the guild.
- The Guild is my shelter- The guild is responsible for the safe and proper running of smithies and other artisans. In this regard, the guild will not prevent a reasonable artisan from practicing their craft. In the same veil, No artisan can work in a town unless they are a member of the local guild.
