Dwarven Mine

Just south of the coastal road between Saltmarsh and Seaton, five stone-grey guard towers rise above the hilltops. Barring the way to the towers, sturdy stone walls surround a square mile protecting a small village. Patrolling the borders of this area are a mix of races all sporting the livery of the Keoland royal army. A broad wooden gate stands between the two towers nearest the road and a few guards who immediately challenge any who approach can be seen stationed above it. The guards have standing orders to admit only those persons with provable business with the mine. As a courtesy, any other passers-by are welcome to rest on cots in the guard towers.
