Tenser
Purportedly born in the Wild Coast town of Fax, he has studied the arcane arts his entire life. His adventuring started as one of the original explorers of Castle Greyhawk. With the wealth acquired from those endless depths, he settled in Greyhawk where he rose to the highest arcane levels. Nowadays, Archmage Tenser is a member of the Circle of Eight and crusades for law and the benefit of all.

Tenser was created by Gary Gygax's eleven year old son, Ernest as an anagram of his own name. Along with Ahlissa, played by Ernie's eleven year old sister Elise, Tenser explored the first level of Castle Greyhawk dungeon as a proving ground for Gary creating the zeroth edition of Dungeons and Dragons. Most famously, Tenser wanted to take all three thousand gold pieces from a chest after Tenser and Ahlissa made it through a string of Giant Centipedes, a nest of Scorpions, and a band of kobolds. They settled for stuffing as much into their bags as they could carry, but eventually Gary borrowed Ernie's character to invent Tenser's Floating Disc.
