On Jennifer's second day teaching at Beacon Hills High, she discussed the concept of virginity in literature with a class of Seniors, and based on their reactions, identified possible sacrifical victims, including Emily.
Emily was actually preparing to lose her virginity (to her girlfriend Caitlin Williams) when she was taken.
