Kitsune Tails

Kitsune Tails are representations of a Kitsune's power.

With each ability a kitsune of Chiko or above gains mastery of, they gain a tail. These tails are visible on their foxfire aura, or when they take fox form.

When in human form, the tails will appear as physical objects, usually (although not always) weapons.

A kitsune can sacrifice a tail in order to use powerful magic, such as summoning Oni. There is no limit on how many tails a kitsune may have in their life, but they can never have more than nine at any one time.
