Mountain Ash

Rowan or Mountain Ash are trees of the genus Sorbus, found throughout the temperate biomes of the Northern Hemisphere.

It is commonly used in European magic, especially by Druids, who use it to create magically barriers impassible by supernatural creatures.

Ut is also used in other types of protection magic, in spells for finding things or against getting lost, and in opening portals between worlds.
