As with much of modern Itharan culture, Itharan cuisine is a fusion of the different-yet-compatible culinary preferences of the Duma, Nasr, Hathi, and Fal people. While each ethnicity began with its own preferences based on regional agriculture and natural resources, as the different people began to live together and share their resources, so too did their food evolve into a distinct form.
