Government
Kabir is controlled by a collection renowned merchants from all over the world. This collection makes laws, regulations, and diplomatic treaties. The precise way in which it functions and who is in it are mysteries. Law is enforced by professional mercenary bands hired by the city.
Defences
Kabir has natural defense of being centered in the Kabirian Desert, making an invasion difficult unless done via the sea. The city itself has the legendary Walls of Kabir
Industry & Trade
Almost all the inhabitants of Kabir are merchants and traders. People come from all directions of the compass into Kabir, making a melting pot of cultures and goods, where you can find anything you're looking for no matter how strange, for the right price.
Infrastructure
No mere settlement is Kabir, but a cities within a city—a maze of palaces, swerving alleys, walkways, slums, shops, and towers huddle within its walls.
Assets
Kabir is most known for having copious amounts of gold in the Forbidden Vaults beneath the city, most of which is generated via trade and tax. It does not have an official army, but hired mercenaries often patrol the city and its surrounding, reaching as far as the borders go. The city of Kabir is encased in the legendary Walls of Kabir , which reach high to the sky and are told to be impenetrable.
