    Through the harnessing of immense magical energies, the mages of the Norther Empire were able to halt a meteor in the sky, pulling it into Olara's orbit. This demonstration of magic drained much of Olara and left huge tundras and deserts on both continents.

    Terra Tunnel Collapse
    Geological / environmental event

    The great mines of Birrogh , which had what seemed like endless resources, had run dry soon after the creation of the second moon. Life had been sucked from this part of the world and now only dessert and empty mines remain. The capital abandoned this area and its people in search of more minerals for their inventions.

    Huldorth Invasion
    Disaster / Destruction

    23 years after the beginning of the Duergar invasions in the north of Zin, the Duergar forces managed to sneak past the northern fort of Kol Warhim and infiltrate the agricultural hub of the island, Huldorth . Most of the town was destroyed and the few survivors were taken in by The Ironshade at their nearby outpost.
