The Sutōnzu Me

The Sutōnzu Me (Stones Eye) is a Constant Zenkai which started as a curse placed on the Kyōmori Clan by the Angel Ithuriel, one that has two main effects; 1) the Kyōmori Clan can only give birth to females and 2) any living thing observed by their eyes will immediately be turned to stone. Once caught in their line of sight, you are turned to Stone. This indifferent from death, as your soul, cannot travel to the City of the Dead, because it too is stone. Even if the stone is shattered, caught in the eyesight of the Stone Eyes is unending hell.

Specialized Equipment

Gisha wears a special type of blindfold over her eyes which prevents her from turning people to stone when she looks at them. As a side effect, she is effectively "blind" and unable to actually see anything around her, instead, using her enhanced senses, Gisha can get an idea of what she is looking at.

Personal history

Gisha is the last daughter of the infamous Kyōmori Clan, one that has been jaded and cursed since before the dawn of the current Universe. They hail from a Realm called Kalstopidea and ages ago her forerunner had murdered a God for violating her in his temple. As punishment for her crimes, the Angel Ithuriel cursed the woman with Stone Eyes, turning all who she looked at into rock, even her own lover. 
Ever since then the Kyōmori Clan has long since been deemed enemies of the Gods and has hunted down and slain a fair amount, in the hopes of exacting revenge upon Ithuriel. Countless women raised and sent marching to their death over a grudge eons old. Gisha was the last to be born in this line, her mother Kyōmori Eitsu raised her the same way she was raised, to hunt down and kill the Angel who cursed them. 
However, Gisha heeded the lessons her predecessors could not, some revenge just isn't worth pursuing. With her daughter refusing to fulfill her duty, Eitsu took it upon herself and marched to Ithuriel, ready to do what must be done. When Gisha heard of this she rushed to save her mother but was too late as Ithuriel had already slain her. Enraged, she engaged the Angel in battle, and out of every Kyōmori, only Gisha brought the mighty Ithuriel down to their knees, but never dealt the killing blow. She would not start another cycle of hatred and death, that would die with her mother.

Education

Gisha was trained by her mother in combat, Magic, and avoiding attention. Her family had spent years upon years hunting down Gods and other Celestial beings, and Gisha was made to study their heritage, to become familiar with the art of Slaying a God.

Employment

After her mother died, Gisha served as a Bounty Hunter for a while bouncing about from place to place until she came across the Amazons, a guild of all-female warriors, and was welcomed with open arms among them. She remained with the Amazons for some time, living as a warrior and explorer until she came across an injured man, the infamous Loholt Y. Pendragon, of whom she developed a strong affection for and decided to accompany him on his journey, becoming his Right Hand in his Guild, King's Gambit.

Mental Trauma

Gisha had to witness her mother dying and hold her in her arms as she demanded Gisha fulfill heir Clan's purpose and slay the Angel who cursed them, to avenge their fallen sisters. And as much as Gisha wanted to keep this promise as she stood over Ithuriel's defeated body, she ultimately refused. This could have unforeseen consequences, and she would not allow the future generation of the Kyōmori Clan to be jeopardized by the past's hatred. It ends with her, she is the breaking point.

At times, Gisha can be too laid back and easy-going, she naturally relaxes around people and uses it as a trap to lure in opponents by making them think she is weak or unprepared. However, once paired with her arrogance and confidence, this can become quite the problem, and has gotten her and her friends into more trouble than they could handle.

Relationship Reasoning

Gisha and Loholt were brought together by strange circumstances and in the end, she kind of just joined his guild as she found him charming and handsome. Meanwhile, Loholt was relieved to have someone he could console in without looking like a weak leader.
