Personal history
Michizane was the only son of rich scholars in Kangju, a Realm anchored to Midgard, where he received the best education ∐ Hosar could buy. As a boy, he disapproved of physical combat and spent most of his time trapped inside a library or perfecting his poetry skills. Michizane excelled in his studies and was the best student in his classes, an accomplishment he took pride in.
When Michizane was a man his Realm was absorbed into the Imperium of Midgard after a small violent War. The Sugawara Clan were summarily executed for the war crimes committed by Michizane during the conflict. After the war, he was arrested and deported to Blood-Rok, a prison world in the Midgard Realm. Here, Michizane perfected foreign tongues and gained the support and trust of other prisoners, flexing his extraordinary adaptive muscles.
