Bittie Connor
Bittie is one half of the couple that owns Gilman's Boarding House, along with Ruth Gilman. Bittie’s nickname comes from her size - she’s tall and broad and there’s nothing bitty about her. She does all repairs, keeps the boarders in line, and sees to it that someone takes care of Ruth while Ruth takes care of everyone else.
