Avaletl

The Avaletl are a culture descended from the Valetl diaspora who fled Valetl during the Age of Night, being isolated from the Azure Sea and thus very difficult to connect to the Orange Trade, the island was practically made uninhabitable. The inhabitants fled south and a conflict began which would continue for the next metza. Ambryl and Avalet have conflicted alot over time, their rivalry was strong for the first 200 years and another 800 for the rivalry to end. Both cultures still have jokes refering to the other side, sometimes used disparagingly and most times for laughs. The events that lead to their rivalry ending was their unification under Tar Jullel, The Union forbid member states from clashing amongst themselves and their common membership in the union improved relations. Relations also improved after the Delaration of Return, where the Avalet Dominion agreed to evacuate their population back to their homeland and transfer their Azeyzelan territories to the Ambryl in exchange for a larger title within the Union. The population transfer was only half complete, since many had grown up in Azeyzela and considered themselves separate from Valetl identity. But the land transfer was complete which was a major turning point in Ambryl history. They are a curious blend of Valetl and Amblyn and also gained prominence for their agriculture.
