Dossier on The Zamiotl Archive Project

All information in this document is a summary of the information extracted from the findings of scientists who analysed The Zamiotl Archives on The Moon of Wyndelkynd in the 7th Metza.
The Zamiotl were not a unified group in the universe, their extent was so enormous that it would have been impossible to establish a central authority, even with their extremely advanced technology. Rather they were nomadic, some travelled alone, others in massive fleets of hundreds of planets and moons. They are present in a few dozen galaxies, though they can be discovered travelling outside their home galaxies, sometimes particularly adventurous planets would leave their home galaxies and the border galaxies, intergalactic territory they refer to as Zannizatnizirriaccanfazamiotlioc. The name given to the planet of Wyndelkynd by The Zamiotl who travelled with it is Harritanzincizincan. It is the only Zamiotl Planet known to exist by The Wyndelkyndians. It is quite likely that the Zamiotl language was not unified as well, however since we only have access to one of their planets who seemed to use a single standard language we can not prove this. Also, because of the enormous gulf between us and Zannizatnizirriaccanfazamioltlioc (approximately 7 billion light years) it is highly unlikely we will ever find any more information on the Zamiotl beyond Harritanzincizincan.

• Zincizinc - Proper noun referring to the clan living on the planet. No etymology of its meaning has been found, either since the clan did not know themselves or that information is lost/undiscovered. Presumably it is composed of the unknown word Zinc, used twice.

From what can be gathered from data regarding the nature of the Zamiotl, they were fairly ignorant of the goings on of other species in the galaxy, viewing them as a Wyndelkyndian would view an ant. The staggering immensity of their civilisation is godlike. There are only two other civilisations they actually mention in The Archives, which they called Nashituzinizalioc and Zilloizilloioc, no other information can be gleaned of these two races and the meaning of the names given to them by the Zamiotl is unknown. Since they were worth mentioning to the Zamiotl, it is to be assumed that their civilisations were also of staggering immensity. The primary means of travel used by The Zamiotl was planets and moons, they would convert planets into spaceships with the help of lifeforms similar to Faeriel, which were extremely important to their way of life. There are theories as to the origin of these lifeforms and Faeriel, the most popular of these are that they discovered each other while travelling through space and formed a symbiotic relationship on a civilisational scale, other theories include being engineered by The Zamiotl, and being The Souls of Zamiotl who ascended to Godhood. One of the most curious discoveries regarding the purpose of these lifeforms is that no mention of magic is ever found in The Archives, meaning we Wyndelkyndians have been interacting with her in a way completely different to what was intended. The primary purposes Faeriel served under The Zamiotl were transformation of matter, used to modify the facilities on Harritanzincizinccan or the moon as well as repairing things, telecommunications and Planetary Defense. The Zamiotl on on the moon came to an end in some kind of catastrophe 27 Metza ago, upon which they had Faeriel terraform Harritanzincizinccan into the planet we now know today as Wyndelkynd. According to some of the last entries into The Archives, it was a gruesome transformation. Terraforming a whole planet would be done over a few hundred years depending on it's size under normal circumstances, but the transformation of Wyndelkynd was done in the span of 20 years. The stress induced by such an effort knocked Faeriel unconscious for 20 Metza before finally reawakening. 
Keep in mind the information we have on them has been extracted from a single lost Planetship billions of lightyears away from their home and what their civilisation may look like now is and may forever be unknowable.
