Iriserende Foss
(Norwegian) Iridescent Waterfall
East of Hogeve, the headwaters of the Mistad River form the stellar sight of the Iriserende Foss. The Iriserende Foss is a series of waterfalls for a total drop of 770 ft over six miles.
Now, those figures ain't nothing mythical, but that's not what makes 'em falls special. How about the translucent iridescent water? Makes me think of rainbow milk. Ugh. Why'd I just gag? Milk was a bad choice. Still not cool? What about bioluminescent activity? You do know what that is right? HA! What a lying nerd. I just made that word up. Regardless, shit glows in the dark. For real. So now that your eyeballs have tasted the explosion of acid trip colour, its time to blow your mind. Follow me along the Slaveresmåtei to the Mistad River Crossing. There, do you see it now? Isn't it amazing how all the mini-falls line up perfectly like that? Really makes you think about the bigger things in life. Things like *burp*, gods.. what the hell was up with that milk!? Well now that we're here, you may as well help me catch a fish or two for dinner. Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with them. Its just water and they're still just fish. I've been here all my life and I'm fine ain't I?
Localized Phenomena
The falls cast continuous light into the region, perpetually illuminating the surrounding valley with a multi-coloured glow. Accordingly, behaviours tied to day/night cycles have been heavily disrupted for the local flora and fauna.
