Need

Aanvoerder Usselincx, leader of the Barnema Trade Company, is ostensibly one of the most hated individuals in all of Seclora. Despite being the latest leader in a long line of incredibly talented individuals that has unified most of the continent, an untold number of people have been abused, oppressed, enslaved, and/or killed as a result of the Company's actions. Heavy is the hypothetical crown indeed.
Since general society lacks scruples and there's a business to run, an elite unit of professional.. uh.. proactive defense specialists... are dedicated to the protection of the Company leader.

Development

In line with the Company's approach to all things, the members of Speciale Veiligheidstroepen are bred to be the best. Promising individuals are identified at birth based on the acumen of their parents then plucked from their homes at an early age without warning. Indoctrination of intense routines for physical fitness, weapons training, survival skills, mental acuity, and more begins immediately. No training is spared and no excuses are accepted. Only those highest in the Company's administration have any knowledge of this program to keep the trainees and reservists secret and protected.

Responsibilities

The Speciale Veiligheidstroepen shadow the head of the Company every second of every day. No location unscouted, no thing left to chance, no surprise permitted. Seen but unremarked and unheard. The more the Ms. Usselincx forgets the Speciale Veiligheidstroepen is there, the better they're doing their job. Even if you were you to truly notice them, you've probably made enough noise that they already know who and where you are..

Load-out

Every member on active duty has their specific role and corresponding skills. Similarly, each has their personal set of state-of-the-art equipment to accompany their best-in-class programming. The finest blades, the best bows, the lightest armour, the deadliest poisons, everything is, simply put, the best. Heck even their BOOT POLISH is probably an amalgamation from some recent science experiment.

Structure

For obvious reasons, the specific members, their roles, responsibilities, skills, and equipment are all unspecified and off-the-books. A keen accounting eye will notice that certain monies, materials, and staff end up in some mundane sounding department that nobody really has eyes on in such innocuous quantities and normal-sounding transactions to notice anything odd.
