Please mind the door when you come into the shop. My beloved Scrimbles sleeps in his bed near there. It's his favorite spot; he just adores looking out the window and watching people walk by.

This elderly tiefling is the owner of a bodega in the city of Coralview. She's run it for most of her adult life after inheriting the shop from her parents. Her staff are her family and she wants to see them thrive and be happy.
Five years ago she found a young opossum behind her store and rescued it. She named him Scrimbles and then changed the name of her corner store to match it.

Physical Appearance

Madame stands at 5'7 tall and has a fat build. She has medium brown skin and wrinkles forming on her face. Her hair is a graying black and has a natural texture. It's long and she alternates between braiding it and keeping it free. The Madame has dark brown eyes with faint cataracts starting to from.
Her horns grow from just above her forehead and are straight. The last couple inches of each horn curves back then upwards again, ending in a sharp point. She has a long tail that ends in a regular tip. It was broken a couple times throughout her life and has a few visible kinks along its length.
The Madame has faun like legs that end in hooves. The fur is soft and has the same coloration as her hair. She never bothers to dye any of her hair and likes it just the way it is.
Her wardrobe contains many pant suits and soft sweaters. There's no dominating colors or patterns, she simply wears whatever is comfortable and looks best to her at the time. She doesn't accessorize much, but will wear the occasional ring or earring set. In her old age she now wears reading glasses that are attached to a gold chain around her neck.
The Madame enjoys wearing makeup, but nothing too heavy or gaudy. Her favored colors are warm hues and metallics like gold and copper. She often paints her nails and keeps them well maintained.

Personality

She is soft and loving, but also fierce and protective. The Madame will do anything to help those close to her if able. Her corner store group may be small and a little weird to others, but she loves them and wants them to be happy.

Early Life

Morphei was born to a tiefling mother and father. She is a middle child with an older brother and younger sibling. They grew up in the outskirts of Coralview where she's lived all her life. The Madame loves her city and wouldn't give it up for anything.
She spent many an afternoon at the beach exploring the tide pools or looking for seashells. The Madame was never a big fan of swimming, but would walk through the water up to her shins on hot days. She always enjoyed the picnics her family had during the summer months.
Her family ran the bodega for as long as she could remember. It's been passed down throughout three generations. She grew up doing homework in the back and helping on the weekends as a teenager.
