The Luminous University

Established in 112, the Luminous University in the centerpiece of Shimmerwick city. It was founded by a collaboration between The Arcane Board and an Oizai woman named Yuuna Moondrinker. The board wanted a building to use for their main operations and the early mages of Omari decided it was about time to make magic accessible to everyone. 

Construction and Layout

The campus is comprised of the main building for classes which is 12 stories high and cylindrical. There are five dorms spaced evenly in a circle around that. An observatory is located in the northern outskirts and a large greenhouse takes up the southern portion. All buildings are accessibility friendly and each dorm is able to house any student no matter their needs or species. An enchanted, magical barrier dome encases the entire campus. 
The entire school has a blue and silver color scheme. Walls are adorned with stars and moon shaped lamps are scattered about. Dorm rooms are made with white flooring and walls so that students can make the space their own. Each class door has a gold star plaque with the number etched into it and professors have silver moon plaques on their doors with their name and area of study. Lounge and study areas have couches designed to look like clouds. Tables in these sections are round, painted a dark navy, and have the phases of the moon depicted on its circumference.

"Here at the Luminous University we strive to foster an interest and respect for magic and all its uses. We are partnered with The Arcane Board to provide the highest quality experience while covering the widest scope possible. No student shall feel left out, targeted, or that they are lacking assistance and accessibility. Magic should be open to everyone. Long gone are the days of being secretive mages locked away in our towers. We promote a healthy and respectful learning environment."

Courses 

Luminous University offers a wide array of classes and seminars for their students. There are no set years to attend before finishing unless there is a certification involved. Students are free to take however many fits their schedules and needs. Each general subject comes in three difficulty levels.
