Shodan'Qi
Shodan'Qi is, by and large, the most civilized city south of the Mystic Sisters and the Twin Seas. However, civilized doesn't mean safe, nor does it mean easy to navigate.
Given its size and influence, Shodan'Qi is a cosmopolitan city with a diverse population of citizens. While humans comprise the majority of its populace, it is home to a large number of elves, immigrated from the relatively nearby Sunspeaker Dynasty and it's capital Amnethyr , dwarves from Elduskjoldr, kender with wanderlust, some of the less reclusive Goliaths from the neighboring city of Stront, and Tieflings seeking a larger city than nearby Karanthas. Shodani tend to be social, stalwart and outspoken people who maintain a worldly perspective of the cultures of Omiralon. While they are proud of their city's history, they typically keep from dismissing cultures from foreign lands. While they often seek the improvement of their lives through the accumulation of wealth and self-importance, as a people, they would not stand for military conquest or the thought of imperialization.[39]
