Eric and Aiden's mothers die in a carriage accident that only Aiden survives. Eric gets a crush on Prince Aiden. Aiden has a masked ball to find a partner Eric goes as a woman and tell Aiden his name is E. Eric runs from the ball leaving behind his necklace and Aiden. Aiden begins to look for his mystery E and gets Eric to assist. After Eric gets upset about Aiden he takes a sick day and Aiden finds him and cheers him up so they become friends deciding to teach each other things they want to learn. Aiden makes Eric sit with his family during the tournament after jealousy and other stuff Aiden admits his feelings to Eric and Eric reveals he is E. After the tournament banquet Aiden carries Eric to his room after too much alcohol, Eric reveals his mother was the hand maiden who died saving the prince. They spend a day together learning about each other including starting lessons Eric learning to read and write while Aiden learns to cook. They spent the next month getting to know each other and becoming closer then Eric starts to question their relationship due to Stella but Aiden has been pulling away. Aiden Proposes to Eric revealing he was nervous about said proposal so had pulled away. They get married one year later. 10 years later they adopt twins one girl one boy after finding them abandoned and scared a experience with a witch.

History
Stella became Eric's guardian after his mother passed but not by choice she had become head maid so Eric became her problem. Stella hates Eric because she feels trapped by having him and her own daughter Ela associated with her. Eric does not like her but only because of how she treats him. Stella goes out of her way to make Eric's life hard making him do twice the ammout of jobs or new jobs if she messes up something he is doing. Eventually Eric stands up to Stella not wanting to deal with her anymore now that he has Aiden.
History
Became friends very young and grew up together confiding in each other. when Eric's mother died Ela's mother became Eric's guardian making Ela and Eric basically sibblings which made them closer. They moved into a shared room. Stella, Ela's mother hates both of them makes Eric's life hell tried with Ela but failed as she moved to working in the kitchen away from her mother. Stella being mean brought them both closer as friends. Ela wishes to become a knight so they started training together for quite a few years in secret. Ela helps Eric get into Aiden's ball by dressing him up and giving him her invitation. Eric helps Ela sign up to become a knight as Cinder her sudenim. Eric helps to heal Ela during the tournament to prevent her being found out as a woman. Ela gets a benifactor and somwere to go to learn to be a knight they spnd as much time as they can togther before she is due to leave at the end of the month. as Eric and Aiden get closer ela becomes a confidont for Eric as they gush and squeal about it together. after Ela leaves to train a year later she is back to be knighted while Eric is getting married she is going to walk Eric down the isle. they stay lifelong friends even when Ela leaves to live in the neibouring kingdom with her partners Idalia and Gwain they make a yearly date to meet and a place to catch up even though they send each other letters oftern after Ela learns to read and write.

Molly is the one who saw eric's love for cooking and incouraged it becomign like a surrage mother figure for him and Ela she lets erci hide in the kitchens and help out to get away from Stella whenever needed. she also helps when Eric needs to use the oven as she does not trust him to use it as he keeps burning himself making her go mama bear.
