Chant Of The Ever Circling Skeletal Family
On January 8th, occuring every year since 2016, people begin to report a strange ritual occur in and around three different places across the world: In a region of Exa-London identified as the former area of Brixton, an abandoned apartment complex within what used to be Berlin, and in a chocolate-factory turned apartment-complex within the former Nolita area within NEO City. While smaller occurences of this ritual would break out across the world in various places, those three are the most well known due to the sheer size of it.
The Ritual involves a strange manifestation of skeletons forming at 6 PM and going on until midnight. During this time, the skeletons will begin to dance and chant the entire time, enjoying an odd; makeshift party. During this time, they will often ignore any passersby or interaction people attempt to make with them. Instead, however, anyone who listens to the chanting and celebrations that the skeletons partake in will find themselves being compelled to join in, often dancing and chanting the same odd chant they do despite not knowing the words.
History
Not much is known about how the skeletons manifest. Users on the White Rabbit Society had discovered that an Arcanist used some of their magic to make the event occur; based on a collection of posts deep within a Rabbit Hole on there titled 'What are your tributes to the lost and old'? The posts, made by a user calling themselves 'BringMeTheDiscoKing', all talking about their exploits on finding as many skeletons of any kind, whether they're real, models, clothing depictions and other such skeleton-related objects; and transmuting them into incorporeal beings. The posts and relevant replies have since been archived for reference, though no one has been able to identify the user.
about a month ago i started looking around for some skeletons, weirdo friend of mine who does the grave digging stuff just dropped a skeleton off. got a garage full of them, and some weird sciency models and the like. gonna do like what Emperor4000 described with his tribute, only on a much larger scale

Why that day?
it was the musician's birthday, duh. he would've been 69 next year. i know, funny number and all that, but he was a great musician and it sucks that he's gone. it's a dumb tribute and i'm putting way too much effort into it, but sometimes you gotta do some crazy shit as tribute.
specifically it's gonna be based off of this song. wont be a reference to the whole 1984 thing he was doing with the album, don't want anyone to actually get hurt, but i'd want them to enjoy the fun, maybe join in!
