Grand Line

The Grand Line is a treachurous ocean that defies logic with its strange phenomenon and features.

Geography

The Ocean itself is a like a belt that goes around the planet's equator at a 45* angle. It sits perpidicular to the Red Line and thus splits the Grand Line into two halves (Paradise and New World). The border of the Grand Line is called the Calm Belt and it is considerably more dangerous. Islands on the Grand Line can have extremely abnormal properties. Some can be more "normal" than others, but common sense never seems to apply to them.

Localized Phenomena

Each island in the Grand Line generates an atypical magnetic field that renders regular compasses useless. Instead, one must use a Log Pose to travel to islands directly.

Climate

Each island within the Grand Line ignores logic and has its own weather and seasons. The ocean itself though can have almost unpredictable weather patterns that only the best navigators can handle.
