Drow

Species that originated from various sub races of Elf. When the war ended in the second era, Elves of all all kind were banished from the free lands, to either die or be secluded to the continent of Vrofmas. 
The folk who became known later as Drow, chose another option. Large groups of Elves found underground homes and secret places. These were places that were originally defended agaisnt valiantly, then either forgotten about or caved in from the surface. The Elves found themselves imprisoned in the very places they had tried to hide away in. And thus, over the next couple centuries, Elves in these underground locations became a palish white in color, and grew more malice. 
While still banished, the Elves of Vrofmas had much difficulty finding them even after a short time. As the years went by though, and especially when Elves had been welcomed back to the rest of the world, the Elves tried to offer aid and support for the Drow that was now welcome to come back to surface. 
The Drow by this time, had turned hard against all but their own, and denied the help of even the other elves.
