Chromeometallic Incubator
The chromeometallic incubator is an experimental device invented by draconologist and Transmuter Lucretia Britt in Y1110.
It is an orb made of metal engraved with draconic runes and imbued with powerful transmutation magic, into which an embryonic Chromatic Dragon-- removed from its egg-- is placed. Hypothetically, when cared for and carried by someone doing exceptional good, the Dragon inside will hatch as a Metallic Dragon that matches the type of metal used in the crafting of the orb.
The first chromeometallic orb is in the process of being incubated by an adventuring party hired by the Cantonova Special Forces to carry it. If Dr. Britt's experiment is successful, the blue dragon inside will instead hatch as a brass dragon.
