Elessar

Elessar is a variety of beryl found primarily in the Eldar Wood. It varies in color from a deep leaf green to a lighter sage green, somewhere between the hues of its cousins emerald and aquamarine.
Elessar is the national gemstone of Scalados. When enhanced with Elven Jewelrymaking techniques, it promotes connection with nature and channels forest magic. It can enhance the restorative powers of a trance or meditation and improve the growth of plant life. Thus, elessar is particularly common in the holy symbols of the clerics of Danu, though it can be used in the symbols of other gods as well. It is also one of the few cut gemstones common among druids, particularly those of the Circles of the Land native to Scalados.
